Happy scrapping people!!!

sudah lama tidak mencoret sesuatu di sini.  sejak Syawal lalu, sejak 'harta karun' ku, ku asak dalam bilik stor setelah sekian lama menghuni ruang makan rumahku, aku seperti sudah tidak punya kuasa berkraftangan. 

Bulan lalu, kunjunganku ke xcess book membuatkan tanganku kembali gatal.  Ada banyak majalah scrapbook yang ku borong.  Ye lah, dengan harga RM9.90 (tidak sampai BND5) setiap satu, aku memang ter'paksa' memborong

Tadi siang, tidak tertahan dengan iklan SALE kedai scrapbook yang biasa ku kunjungi, aku balik dengan 100 keping kertas corak, kertas istimewa dan kertas potong mati (die-cut) hahaha.... berserta beberapa benda lain yang wajib untuk menghias Layout scrapbook ku nanti.  Cuma ada satu 'mainan' baru yang ku beli kali ini, Puncher and Emboss Border dari Fiskar.  Itupun sebab tidak ada sale yang mengujakan.

Hmm.. masa untuk bermain sudah tiba, ku harap hujung minggu ku ini sempat ku manfaatkan dengan mengasah semula jari-jariku yang sudah tumpul ini

well.. the real one looks better than the pic hehehe...  I made the flowers and sprayed it with tattered angles glitter mist

I've found an interesting blog when I looked for sb challenge, and no I didnt win it . I guess my interpretation of the sketch is too plain to be competetive, but I had fun doing it...well, that's the best part I guess.


and again....my pictures was fuzzy when I caught the best moment.  All can see that he was very happy..beaming to the brim . 
I used a left over canvas and stamped it with owl and paste it on a coaster and add that felt branch.  Well..I think that's the only best part of this LO hehehe... everything else is too ordinary to brag about .
I think, someday I'm going to remake this LO

I was rather productive this month , this is actually my UFO (unfinished objects) project.  The chipboard is a left over from printing company, it is layered with wafer thin sponge.  Its been collecting dust under my table since last 2 years I guess.

so I made this mini albums a few months ago but never finish with it until last week when I was cleaning up and organizing (I mean trying to) my stash I've found pictures of my son when he was in kindy.




the paper dolls' so cute I cut n paste 'em inside the album and to get a flow.

"Bah... do you remember the year when your parents got married?" ...and the answer is NO! so what year your eldest bro borned? NO! hmmm...

so I tried to figure it, so I guess sometime between 1956 and 1959.  I found the right alpha sticker for my LO...Well I still got xtra number be it 6 or 9.  But I wasn't sure, so I just stick 'em on a plastic waiting for my next meeting with my inlaws.

yes, I love mini albums. any sizes.  This one is using Maya road mini album chipboard.  I (with the help of my crafty daughter) painted it with Making Memory acrylic paint for a grunge look.
 

I wanted to document this moment, the day that he became 40.  I planned a surprised birthday party for him and it all went well except for the camera, I forgot to recharge its battery, thats why the pictures come out fuzzy .   Anyway, it still captured the moment.

today is the 6th year without my mother.  I wanted to scrap a picture of her  with elegance and chic LO, just like her.  I'm thinking of ribbons, lace, blings, pearls, prima flower, webster's page pattern paper. But somehow I ended up with this layout.  The stickers I bought looks right on the this basic grey, sugar rush collection (I hope our local shop still have stock on them, I want to buy some more )
